Colm Canning was the applicant for the funding to Erasmus+ for the BeFore project and was very committed to its aims due to his number of years experience playing and working in sport. He graduated with a BSc in Science in Sport and Exercise Sciences from the University of Limerick in 2018. Colm worked for Croke Park and Tipperary County Board for two years overseeing the development and implementation of GAA, education, promoting inclusion and providing equal access to opportunities and resources for all. Colm resumed his studies in 2019 at Kemmy Business School at the University of Limerick wherein he received an MSc in Work and Organisational Behaviour Psychology in 2020.
Colm was the initial Principal Investigator for the BeFore Anti-Bullying Education for Sports Coaches from February to July 2022. In July, he left the Anti-Bullying Centre in DCU to pursue new opportunities. Colm remains committed to the goals of the project and will watch its development with a keen interest and hopefully some involvement.
