This lesson facilitates a recap of the main topics/themes covered in the 1st year FUSE Programme. This lesson may also be helpful to introduce the topic of bullying behaviour and bullying prevention if your school has not taught any previous FUSE lessons. It is vitally important that all students are aware of what bullying behaviour is, what bullying behaviour both online and offline may look like, and the importance of noticing and reporting bullying.
This lesson aims to continue to promote self-efficacy among students, building their confidence to take responsibility, know what to do and take action when it comes to reporting bullying. This learning will then be built on and explained in greater detail over the remainder of the 2nd year FUSE programme.
Students should be enabled to:
- Explore and notice the signs of bullying behaviour online and offline
- Recognise and reflect on how bullying behaviour can make others feel
- Identify and discuss safe and appropriate ways to respond to and report bullying behaviour
- Know what to do if they are experiencing bullying behaviour, whether online or offline
