Student Voice in the School
Anti-Bullying Policy

Student Voice in the School Anti-Bullying Policy

About the Lesson

Research shows that the best form of learning is involvement – students can play a direct role themselves in preventing and responding to bullying behaviour. This lesson aims to encourage students to review their school Anti-Bullying Policy and to understand how they can contribute to it.

By including student voice within the school Anti-Bullying Policy, students are afforded the opportunity to contribute their views, opinions and potential solutions to bullying incidents. *You will require a copy of your school Anti-Bullying Policy for this lesson

Students should be enabled to:

  • Define what an Anti-Bullying policy is
  • Understand what the key principles of an Anti-Bullying Policy are
  • Reflect on the School Policy and how they feel it can be improved
