Welcome to More to Explore from DCU Anti-Bullying Centre.

FUSE is developed by DCU Anti-Bullying Centre, a university-designated research centre. We have developed other practical, evidence-based resources which may be of use to you/your school community in preventing and addressing bullying behaviour.

Like the FUSE programme, these resources draw on national and international research and are evidence-informed. They include a variety of tools, training materials and documents.

Tozi

Tozi is an app for children & young people developed by Vodafone Foundation, in partnership with DCU Anti-Bullying Centre and Childline by ISPCC. Tozi empowers and supports young people in their online journey by creating a kinder, safer, and more positive digital world.

Available for IPAD and smartphone.

GEM – Gender Equality Matters

GEM aims to raise awareness, build confidence, and enhance capacity levels among children, parents and teachers to tackle gender stereotyping, gender-based bullying and gender-based violence – to create proactive whole school communities.
Classroom materials and multi-media resources are available.

Addressing the Impact of Masculinity Influencers on Teenage Boys

This resource aims to provide schools, teachers and educators with guidance on how to address the impact of online masculinity influencers on young people, particularly teenage boys (aged 13-18), via educational interventions and initiatives.

BeFore – Anti-Bullying Education for Sports Coaches

Free online course on anti-bullying education for coaches, with 3 modules: understanding, preventing and responding to bullying. The project addresses peer to peer bullying, coach to athlete bullying and coach to coach bullying.

GeGame

A digital game resource for young people to promote gender equality and to tackle gender-based and sexual abuse and harassment.

GeGame is designed for teachers who deliver subjects relating to issues of personal development, digital safety, gender equality and relationships and sexuality education.

YAB – Young Ambassadors against Bullying and Cyberbullying

YAB seeks to support young people with or without disabilities to become ambassadors against bullying in their schools and to provide specialist training for teachers working with them to promote equity, diversity and inclusion in schools.

Belonging at School

Developed for Anti-Bullying Week 2025, these resources will provide you with some ideas for Bí Cineálta activities. Research has shown that​ when children and young people feel accepted in their classroom, bullying​ behaviour is less likely to occur.​ There is a presentation and lesson plan available for Special, Primary and Post-Primary Schools. Resources are available in English and Irish.

Let’s Talk about Bullying Behaviour

Developed for Anti-Bullying Week 2024, these resources will provide you with some ideas for Bí Cineálta activities. These resources may be useful to introduce the topic of Bullying Behaviour to students. There is a presentation and lesson plan available for Primary and Post-Primary Schools. Resources are available in English and Irish.
