Michael O’Leary – DCU Institute of Education


Prof. Michael O’Leary is a member of DCU School of Policy and Practice and a Research Fellow at the National Anti-Bullying Research and Resource Centre. Michael holds the Prometric Chair in Assessment at DCU and is Director of Postgraduate Studies in Education at St Patrick’s College. Michael has a PhD in Educational Research and Measurement from Boston College. His main area of interest is on assessment at the classroom, national and international levels, including methods of assessment for bullying prevention and intervention. His most recent work has involved collaborations with research colleagues at various institutions in Ireland, New Zealand Norway, South Africa and the US. Michael has had research articles published in Ireland, Britain and the US.
