An examination of the role of Social Dominance Orientation in online bullying behaviour

To examine the relationship between Social Dominance Orientation (SDO) and Bullying among young people.
To examine the mediating role of empathy and moral disengagement in the relationship between SDO and cyber bullying.
To examine the relationship between online engagement and trusted sources of information for societal issues and SDO.
We aim to do this through a systematic review of the existing literature on SDO and bullying and through an online survey with young people asking them to report on their experiences of cyber-bullying and looking at the relationships between this and SDO, empathy, moral disengagement and online news engagement.
