Research Surveys

As FUSE is a research-based programme that aims to educate students on how to tackle bullying and raise awareness of online safety, ongoing research is vital to improve the programme.

By conducting research with participants we are able to measure the impact and effectiveness of the programme.

This is how we conduct our online surveys:

Students and teachers complete an anonymous online survey to evaluate the effectiveness of the programme. There are specific steps that should be followed to complete the survey:

• Plain Language Statement is presented in video format to be viewed by parents and students.
• Parent provides consent to allow their child to participate in the survey.
• Students provides consent to participate in the survey.
• Survey is then completed by the student.

Teachers who deliver the FUSE Programme complete an anonymous online survey to evaluate the effectiveness of the resources.

ABC researchers analyse the output of the survey results and will publish a FUSE Impact Report at the end of each academic year.
